documenting my first run at making recycled paper

I made my first full attempt at making recycled paper this week, and I documented the process with photos. I plan to use the photos in my Squidoo lens. The outcome of the process was two pieces of round paper with a bluish tinge. I was very pleased! Now I'm just waiting for the pieces to finish drying so I can iron them out.

Making frames

For Christmas my husband bought me all of the supplies I need to start making recycled paper. Today I'm going to staple the mesh to the frames. He picked up some inexpensive frames at Wal-Mart, and I'm using them as my paper-making frames (minus the glass of course!).

Tearing up paper

I've been saving scrap paper for several months now in anticipation of starting my new hobby of making recycled paper. I enjoy sitting down at my kitchen table and listening to music or a book on CD while I tear the paper into scraps.
